Membership carries continuing education requirements, which matters more than it sounds: building methods, materials and code expectations move, and an inspector who stopped learning in the year they were licensed will keep inspecting the houses of that year.

It is the network behind infrared jobs performed outside Texas, including electrical infrared work at a Northrop Grumman facility in Sunnyvale, California.

The oldest independent infrared training and certification firm in the world, founded in 1980, and it has trained and certified roughly ten thousand thermographers worldwide. Thermography is a discipline with real theory behind it, and the difference between a camera pointed at a wall and an inspection is entirely in the person reading the image.
