The report is ordered the way the building is built. These are the components a Texas inspection describes the condition of at the time of the inspection.
Structure
- Foundation and elevations test
- Visible structural components
- Framing, cuts, notches and boring
- Under floor access and wood to soil contact
- Roof structure from accessible panels
- Movement indicators in sheetrock and brick
Systems
- Heating, run through normal controls
- Central air conditioning, temperature permitting
- Interior plumbing, supply and drain waste vent

- Electrical service, panelboards and over current devices
- AFCI and GFCI testing, grounding and bonding
